  • Zitan
the tall vertical frame with square top above a waisted section carved with a keyfret band in relief, above a pierced rectangular section attached with an apron and flange carved with archaic gui dragon scrolls in relief on all sides, the long straight legs with hoofed feet on a square base, the wood of a chestnut-brown color

Condition

There is a 5 inch long restored patch to one of the legs, going down to the foot. Some of the short sides of the brackets are paler in tone, suggesting that they may have been replaced. There are some fills to some of the splits / gaps to the piece. One of the sides on the square base is of a slightly pale color and may have been replaced, and several feet below the base may have been restored.
