Condition

The condition of the bronze is good. There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, including a few minor nicks and scratches. There are a few slightly larger scratches to the proper right side of the drapery. There are a number of small lacunae, including to the drapery and in the hair. There are two slightly larger lacunae in the drapery near the neck on the proper left side. There is a large lacuna in the proper left side of the bust due to a short pour. The marble base is in good condition with minor dirt and wear consistent with age.
