Condition
Overall the condition of the terracotta is very good with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age and handling. The piece has been cast in sections and there are several original slightly visible casting joints, including at the neck, proper left arm and wrist and at the sides of the torso. Some of these are very slightly open, but stable, and may have been restored. Restoration appears to have taken place at the back where the proper left hand meets the hip. There are a few stable slightly open firing cracks, including at the inner proper right arm. There is a very small hole in the sole of the proper left foot.
