Condition

Overall the condition is good. There is dirt and wear to the patina consistent with age, with particular areas of wear to the chest, arms and drapery at the front and at the proper right buttock and leg at the back. There is a small mark at the proper right breast. There are two visible original casting joints at the top of both arms and two slightly visible casting plugs at the top of the proper right arm. The bow is cast separately and is loose when placed in the hand of the violinist.
