Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is excellent. There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few very small lacunae from the casting process on the underside of the bust at the back. There is some minor greening in a crevice at the back of the head. There are some small chips and scratches to the edges of the marble base. The marble base has some slight orange discolourations.
