Condition

Overall the condition is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few small losses, including to some of the leaves. There is small hole behind the dog's proper right ear and another at his proper left ear. There is a very slightly visible stable fissure running across the relief from right to left, below the title inscription. There are a number of stable splits to the wood frame consistent with the material. There are also a few chips and scratches to the frame and a larger loss to the right edge.
