Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is very good. There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, including a few minor chips and scratches. There are a number of minor naturally occurring inclusions. There is an area of restoration to the corner of the pillow and lace behind the baby's head. There are some small chips to the edges of the lace. There are a few dark stains to the shell at the baby's proper right side. The condition of the base is very good with minor dirt and wear consistent with age. There are a few chips to the edges of the foliage and to the bottom of the base.
