Condition
Overall the condition of the marble is very good with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are some small chips and losses to the edges of the foliage and to the laurel wreath. There are a number of naturally occurring small filled inclusions and some slightly visible veining consistent with the material. There is dirt and wear to the column including a few chips and scratches. There is a section of discolouration or damage to part of the upper section of the central part of the column and there are some larger chips and losses in this area. Otherwise the condition of the column is good.
