Condition

Overall the condition of the gold is very good. There is dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, including a few minor nicks and scratches and some rubbing. Four slightly larger nicks are visible on the reverse at the edges of the pinnacles. The joints at the lock are slightly visible, particularly at the reverse. There are a few very small lacunae in this area, both to the front and to the reverse. The clip mechanism still functions.
