Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There are scattered soft creases. The smudging appears inherent to the medium and the artist's working method. The sheet has discolored slightly with age. The adhesive used to hinge to the work is slightly visible at the top two corners. Hinged verso to the matte at the four corners. Framed under Plexiglas.

Catalogue Note

"What you look for, I think, if you're interested in painting and drawing, are those things which captivate you in some way, which sort of knock you off your feet for a minute.  You don't quite know what's going on.  [Martín] Ramírez work has this very riveting kind of attention."
