Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is general evidence of light handling and wear and rubbing around the extreme edges. There is evidence of light and fine craquleure. There are scattered light brown spot and drip accretions. There is a faint circular surface impression located approximately 17 3/4 inches from the bottom edge and 31 inches from the left edge. There is evidence of inpainting which fluoresces darkly under ultraviolet light in a 7 inch vertical line beginning 24 inches from the left and 15 1/2 inches from the bottom; as well as a 3 inch horizontal line beginning 8 inches from the bottom and 26 inches from the left edge. There is a minute spot loss located approximately 1 inch from the right edge and 14 inches from the top edge. Framed.
