Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is fine and stable craquelure throughout composition as well as minor and unobtrusive scattered accretions. There is a 1/2 inch repair to the masonite and canvas at the bottom right corner which is visible in the catalogue illustration and which fluoresces under ultraviolet light inspection. Additionally, there is a 1/4 inch area which shows evidence of inpainting which is located 7 1/2 inches from the left edge and 2 1/2 inches from the bottom edge. Similarly, there is a 2 1/2 inch fine line of inpainting which is located in the sea-green colored area near the center of the painting which fluoresces darkly under ultraviolet light inspection. Framed.
