Condition

This painting is in very good condition. There are pinholes in the corners from time of execution. The figure's outline and facial features are drawn into the pigment by the artist and there are scattered minutes paint losses, primarily in the clothing outline, that are associated with the artist's technique. A few minute losses in the figure's right arm and in the waist may be independent of this process. Under ultraviolet light, there are two spots (approximately ¼ to ½ in.) that may be restorations, located in the bottom right of the skirt. The painting is framed in a gilt wood strip frame.
