Catalogue Note
This work is from Murakami's important Time Bokan series begun in 1993. The image of the skull shaped mushroom cloud comes directly from the Japanese Animé series from the 1970s titled "Time Bokan". The villain from the series would disappear in a cloud at the end of every episode and reappear again in the beginning of the next.
