"The main theme of my sculptures could be called 'humanity' in general, in particular the notion of being a 'child.' My intent is to reconstruct the good and the evil, the dark and the luminous traits inherent in human beings as a whole, while questioning the social clichés, identities and cultural structure surrounding them.
I transport the cruel and aggressive potential lurking in every human being to the still physically and psychologically immature bodies of children; children that have not yet been made to conform to society; these 'little people', who might not be capable of distinguishing between good and evil. Yet they can also have dark sides just like adults..."
