Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly lighter with slightly less blue in the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a small chip at the centre of the left overturn edge, and a very faint short horizontal scratch towards the bottom left corner, and a very short horizontal hairline crack to the centre of the white area of thick impasto towards the centre of the bottom left quadrant. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
