Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer with the paper tone of (ii) tending more towards a soft cream in the original. Condition: These works are in very good condition. Each sheet is attached to its backing board in a few places on the reverse. (i) There are a few nicks to the lower edge of the paper collage and a few media accretions and handling creases elsewhere, all of which are probably inherent to the artist's working process. (ii) There are several nicks, spots of paper skinning and handling creases throughout. There are a few media accretions to the lower half of the sheet, visible in the catalogue illustration. All of the above are original and inherent to the artist's working process. (iii) There are a few nicks to the extreme edges and handling creases throughout, notably two diagonal creases in the lower right hand corner, all probably original and inherent to the artist's working process. There is some light discolouration in places and a few media accretions scattered along the left side edge. There is light undulation to the sheet throughout. (iv) The top edge of the sheet is uneven and there are a few small handling creases along the edges. There is light undulation to the sheet throughout.
