Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is richer and deeper in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to the backing mount at intervals on the reverse and the lower edge is deckled. There are artist’s pinholes to the centre of the star and to the apex of the top point. There is some slight undulation throughout the sheet. Upon close examination there is a small spot of surface dirt to the right of the centre of the top edge. A small material fibre is adhering towards the top of the lower right quadrant.
