signed DAQIAN ZHANG YUAN, dated ren chen, 1952, the twenty sixth day of the seventh lunar month, with a dedication to Mrs Kao Ling-mei (Madam Jan Yun-bor), with one seal of the artist, and two collector's seals of Kao including one on the titleslip. Titleslip by Kao

- Signs of foxy could be seen on the fan leaf, which could be removed by restoration.
- Areas of paper loss could be seen on the fan, which was created when the fan was removed from its skeleton.
