A WHITE JADE CUP AND 'LOTUS' CUPSTAND QING DYNASTY, QIANLONG PERIOD

Estimate
300,000 - 400,000 HKD
bidding is closed

Description

the finely carved cup with deep rounded sides rising from a short footring to a slightly flared rim, the stand supported on four bracket feet with a barbed petal-shaped rim encircling the raised central support, the translucent stone of very pale celadon-white tone

Condition

The overall condition is very good with a natural russet-brown patch on the cup. There is some glue residue on the central circle of the raised support of the cupstand, possibly as a result of securing a small round ornament (now missing).
