the globluar body rising to a tall waisted neck flaring at the mouth, brightly enamelled with bats and butterflies amid lotus flowers borne on foliate scrolls and auspicious symbols of peaches and 'endless knots', all reserved on a lime-green ground and set between a row of ruyi heads collaring the mouth and upright lappets skirting the base, above a row of pink-ground key-fret encircling the foot, the base inscribed with an iron-red six-character reign mark reserved on a turquoise ground

There is a large restuck C- shape chip covering approximately half of the mouthrim and extending down about 4 cm. The interior is completely covered in a thin layer of turquoise paint covering up the restoration. The enamelling is in quite good condition with only a few minor scratches.
