Description

each well potted with rounded sides, applied overall with a rich strawberry-red glaze fired to an even glossy finish stopping neatly below the mouthrim and just above the footrim, leaving the base glazed white and inscribed with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The overall condition of the pair is excellent apart from some stained burst air bubbles, minor surface scratches, and a couple of glaze gaps to the base. The copper-red glaze on one dish is slightly deeper than that on the other one.
