Description

each finely potted with shallow curved sides supported on a slightly splayed foot, rising to a flaring barbed rim, the exterior encircled by a raised fillet, covered overall in a rich and lustrous cafĂ©-au-lait glaze of a glossy toffee-brown tone, the countersunk base glazed white, inscribed with a six-character reign mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The overall condition of the pair is quite good, except for some surface scratches and burst air bubbles. The largest patch of scratches measures about by 1 by 0.7 cm to the interior of one dish. There is a small polished glaze gap of 0.1 cm to the interior of the same dish. It also has a few short firing cracks to the foot.
