Catalogue Note
This small and neat manuscript contains the text of Nizami's Haft Paikar and Iskandarnameh. Although lacking the opening illumination and the colophon at the end, from the script, format and style of the gold headings it is possible to attribute it to early Timurid Persia, probably Shiraz around 1420.
