Arabic manuscript on paper, 164 leaves plus 3 flyleaves, 25 lines to the page, written in nasta'liq script in black ink, keywords picked out in red, many scientific diagrams, charts and tables, catchwords, in a plain brown morocco binding with marbled doublures

There is an oblong seal with cut corners, reading:

'The servant of the King of Religion is Abu'l-Hasan 1131 AH/AD 1718-19'

Whilst the exact title of the present work appears to be unrecorded, there are four copies by Nasr Al-Din Al-Tusi in the British Library entitled Tahrir al-Majisti which could be the basis from which al-Andalusi abridged this manuscript (see Colin Baker [ed.], Subject Guide to the Arabic Manuscript in the British Library, London 2001, pp. 382-83).
