l'intérieur délicatement peint au centre de citrons digités poussant parmi des pins et des branches de prunus fleuries entourés d'une frise de ruyi, la même frise se répétant le long des bords intérieurs du bol, le pourtour extérieur agrémenté d'un poème entre deux frises de têtes de ruyi, marque à six caractères en cachet en bleu sous couverte à la base
Condition
A tiny hairline (3mm) to the rim otherwise in good condition. The actual colour is a fraction more cobalt, less ultramarine, with a bluish tinge in the white glaze compared to the catalogue illustration.

A blue and white Qianlong bowl of same design in the National Palace Museum, Taipei is included in the Catalogue of the Special Exhibition of K'ang-hsi, Yung-cheng and Chien'lung Porcelain Ware from the Ch'ing Dynasty in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1986, cat. no. 142.
