inspirée des formes persanes, la panse piriforme à décor de deux médaillons lobés abritant l'un, deux pêches de longévité, l'autre des litchees, en réserve sur fond de lotus dans des rinceaux fleuris, le col entouré de feuilles de bananier, le bec-verseur décoré d'entrelacs et l'anse se terminant en pointe agrémentée de trois petites boules en relief et ruyi stylisés, marque à six caractères en cachet à la base

Collection Laurent Giovangrandi, vice-consul de France à Nankin dans les années 1940.

Condition

Good overall condition. A tiny air bubble to the tip end of the spout, a few expected light scratches to the body. The blue and the white body are a fraction more greyish than the illustration would suggest in the catalogue.
