Condition

Attractive black patina. This work is in good condition. A close inspection reveals some scattered small areas of 'vert de gris' and slight wear to the patina, mostly in the protudent areas. There are a few scattered superficial scratches, mostly to the neck, and a slight build-up of dust in the recessive areas.

inscribed 'AM', dated '1964/87' and numbered '3/8', bears the marks of the foundry 'Brustolin, Verona' and the editor 'Galerie Due Ci, Rome', bronze. Conceived in 1964 and cast in bronze in 1987 by Brustolin foundry, Verona, in a numbered edition of eight, plus a further cast numbered '0/8' for André Masson and two artist's proofs.
