Condition
The canvas is not lined. A close inspection reveals some small scattered areas of shrinkage, notably in the blue pigment near the centre of the upper edge, and two tiny pinhead-sized spots of paint loss towards the centre of the lower half of the composition. Examination under UV light reveals several tiny spots of retouching located in these same areas as well as two small stains of retouching in the yellow pigment surrounding the central spherical form and a 1cm² spot in the upper right corner. This work is in good stable condition.
