Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter in the original.
The work is executed on canvas and it is not relined.
A hairline superficial scuff (approx. 2,5 cm) located 5,5 cm from the left edge and 66,5 cm from the lower edge is visible under close inspection.
Under UV light, four very minor retouchings fluoresce:
- one (less than 0,4 cm) located 63 from the lower edge and 68,5 from the left edge
- three (less than 0,5 cm each) located 6 cm from the lower edge and 74 cm from the left edge.
This work is in excellent condition.
