Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. The work is executed on canvas and it is not relined. A light stain approx. 1,5 cm located 11 cm from the upper left corner is visible under close inspection. A very light water stain located 20 cm from the lower edge and 32 cm from the right edge is visible under very close inspection. Four pinhead sized dots of oxidation are visible under very close inspection: - one located 16 cm from the upper edge and 77 cm from the left edge - one located 74 cm from the upper edge and 15 cm from the left edge - one located 45 cm from the lower edge and 82 cm from the left edge - one located 84 cm from the upper edge and 43 cm from the left edge Under UV light, some tiny scattered dots fluoresce in the black lines. This work is in excellent condition.
