The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although they are more vivid in the original. The work is on its original canvas and is not relined. A very few hairline cracks are only visible under very close inspection. Under UV light, some areas fluoresce : - one approx. 9 x 3 cm, located 3 cm from the upper edge and 3 cm from the right edge - one approx. 9 x 8 cm, located 5 cm from the upper edge and 65 cm from the left edge - one approx. 20 x 12 cm, located 17 cm from the upper edge and 6 cm from the left edge - one approx. 7 x 4 cm, located 9 cm from the lower edge and 70 cm from the left edge all due to an old restauration of the canvas. This work is in good condition.
