Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the contrast is stronger in the original. The work is on its original canvas and it is not relined. Some scattered artist's pinholes located in some of the corners of some of the canvas pieces assembled are only visible under very close inspection. Black painting along the 4 edges is slightly worn. The canvas is worn on the overlap of the two lower corners. This work is in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note

signed, dated and titled on the back; oil on canvas. Executed on July 17, 1957.
