Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. This work is in very good condition. It is in the artist's frame. The glass is split in the upper right corner (2cm) and broken (1,5cm) in the lower right corner. It is executed on both cream wove paper and fabric white tissu. There are some light foxed stains along the right and lower edges. There are some light stains of glue where paper and tissu are in juxtaposition. There is a tiny stain of glue along the left edge visible under close inspection. There is a minor superficial scarff (4cm) along the right edge. There are two pinhead sized foxed stains in the lower part of the work.
