- Two Ottoman polychrome vessels, Iznik
- Ceramic
- Diameter of dish 9 7/8 in. 25 cm.; height of jug 8 1/2 in. 21.6 cm.
comprising a dish with low foot-ring, the interior painted in cobalt blue, tomato red, turquoise-green, and black on the white ground with a symmetrically-arranged floral spray comprising a large flower flanked by saz leaves, roses, and tulips, the exterior with floral ornaments, and a jug painted in cobalt blue, Armenian bole, green and black with a scale pattern and reserved pomegranates, trefoils, and dotted circles.

Condition
The dish generally good. Intact except for a chip about one and a half inches long on the foot. Minor chips and abrasions around the rim. Minor pitting and scratching on the interior, quite a lot of superficial scratches around the exterior. Several superficial hairline cracks to the glaze. Minor staining.
Most of the neck and mouth of the jug is restored, repaired and overpainted. There seems to be some sort of old varnish or shellac over the surface. Minor chips and abrasions.
