  • Two Roman glass vessels

  • Heights 3 3/8 and 2 3/4 in.; 6.9 and 8.6 cm.
comprising a cobalt blue flask of spherical form with concave base, the twin handles and top of the rim in opaque white glass, and a pale green bottle with broad rounded body and everted rim folded in, an encircling groove on the shoulder.

Condition

Both intact and very good. Minor chips on the opaque white elements of the blue bottle. The surfaces of both vessels somewhat weathered and iridescent.
