Catalogue Note
The survival of the original set of twelve chairs and matching pair of settees is remarkable. The chairs relate to a partial set in the collection of Boscobel. A January 15, 1808 bill of sale survives for Mrs. Dyckman's purchase of "12 green and gold crossbacks and 2 settees to match."
