Catalogue Note
The artist has written of this work, "Here is a tailgate party at a Yale-Harvard game - vintage 1928 - at the Yale Bowl. Since this is during the Prohibition, that sure isn't coffee in the cups that people are holding! The picnic set in the foreground was particularly hard to come by, as very few still exist. However, I was fortunate because a friend of mine, an antique car buff, owned one!"
