Gorham's records, as reproduced by Larry Pristo in Martelé Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, p.218, indicate this tankard is listed as being completed on 23 April 1900 with a making time of fifty-five hours. The chasing was executed by Karl Wendt and was accomplished in forty-eight hours. The net factory cost was $150.00.
