SURFACE: in good, overall condition; scattered fine craquelure; a few small losses--a small vertical line, about 1 in. long, at upper center in red, bird-head shape and a few specks in black of balloon shaped object at upper right (another spot just below its tail) UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: no apparent inpainting
