- wood, glass beads
flageolet, of openwork form, composed of a straight section of cedar branch, split lengthwise and joined with "pitch glue," with five holes on the upper section, surmounted by a terraced stop, fastened with hide wrappings, a finely carved crane's head at one end, inset with yellow glass beads for eyes, its beak slightly parted, the other end with a small metal mouthpiece, fine incised details and remains of red and yellow pigment overall.
Condition
Typical overall wear consistent with age. Minor surface abrasions. The pitch glue has run from the seams and hardened in places. Minor surface abrasions overall.
