Description
- Architectural Pottery
- Collection of Six Vessels
- two later examples with firm's impressed marks
- glazed earthenware
- including designs by LaGardo Tackett, John Follis, Malcolm Leland and Rex Goode
Condition
Overall very good condition. Each of the works displays some minor surface dirt from use. One of the white vessels with metal stand, as seen in the catalogue illustration, with discoloration, paint to interior with losses, discoloration to eth exterior, rubbing to the outside of the vessel from contact with the metal base element. Both the black and the mustard color vessel with drilled holes to the interior. A nice assembled set showing a sampling of the designs that comprised the Architectural Pottery aesthetic. Some of the works in this collection are from a new authorized production and not midcentury examples.
