Overall very good original condition. The pile is in generally very good condition measuring approximately a ¼ inch throughout. With some minor spots and minor discolorations scattered throughout. The spots concentrated to one corner are approximately ¾ inch in diameter. With flatwoven edges which have been folded and and sewn. The sides of the carpet with the original ¼ inch wool selvages. This carpet would benefit from a professional cleaning. A very good example of a large scale carpet. The colors in the print catalogue are accurate.
