Condition
Overall in very good condition. The leather surfaces throughout are in remarkable condition, showing minor surface abrasions, rubbing with some associated losses to the dark linear decoration on the highest relief, and minor areas of surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The cardboard easel backing with some minor surface wear, warping and small losses along some of the perimeter borders. With a stable crease to the top of the easel from continued use over time. The perimeter border of the frame with several vacant former nail holes. The clear glass probably replaced. The frame presently beautifully in person, displaying great scale and visual depth to the interlacing relief decoration.
