Condition

Overall in excellent condition. This is an example of a rare pattern in the series of the vases in which Ruhlmann collaborated with Sevres. The gilt metal base is original to the design, and is kept in place by a permanent threaded screw affixed to the underbase of the vase. Base with some rubbing to the gilding, as seen in the catalogue illustration.
