Provenance
Galerie Moderne, London
Condition
Overall in very good condition. One of the decorated glass plates with a chip measuring 1 1/2 inches in length to the lower edge adjacent to the where the screw is inserted to hold the panel to the metal standard. We would recommend restoration of this panel, as the location of the chip has made insertion of the screw unstable to this single panel. There is only a signel screw holding these panels in place and therefore this panel is unstable. With very minor surface scratches and a few scattered edge flecks to the decorated panels. With what appears to be later hardware above the metal cylinder standard. Lacking any glass elements above that circular standard which were originally designed for the piece. The screws throughout appear to be replaced. With five chips to the vertical glass panels along the standard in between the decorative panels. The cap with a two minor flecks.
