Condition

Overall in excellent condition. This sculpture has retained a beautiful color and patination. The oar element is separate and can be removed from the sculpture for the purposes of shipping. With intricate carving of the features and the sculpture has retained the color applied to the ivory in the rendering of the eyes and hair. With some rubbing and losses to the painted surface of one foot. With some tight age cracks to the ivory to the face portion of the sculpture. Due to the fragile nature of this sculpture, special handling and/or packing may be required during the shipping process.
