Condition

Overall in very good condition. The black surface of the frame is rough to the touch and slightly uneven in the surface treatment. With some surface dirt that has adhered to the back surface as seen in the catalogue illustration. With losses to surface used to cover the nail heads along to front top and bottom register of the front surface. The decorative curtain can be closed to cover the artwork. The curtain's decorative elements are in good condition with small inlays of mirrored glass to the vertical strands. A very rare work within the oeuvre of the designer. Due to the fragile nature of this frame, special handling and/or packing may be required during the shipping process.
