Condition
These sculptures are in satisfactory condition. Due to outdoor wear, both sculptures have ingrained dust/grime within their contours. The right-hand sculpture has a white patch under the leg, and at upper front ridge. There is green marking under the raised arm due to previous repair of the bronze.

"... taichi is also a form of ritual combat, in which two figures actively oppose each other. In taichi "boxing" the participants strive to vanquish by yielding, by anticipating the opponent's move so that he (more rarely she) overreaches himself.
