the spout of the ewers carved with dragon heads, the handles with chimeras, each vase and pedestal elaborately decorated with blooming flowers and grapevines.
Condition
Overall in good condition with the usual minor chips and scratches throughout. However there are losses to the sculpted elements: one ewer with an approximately four inch loss to grape branches decorating the left side of the rim, two losses to the scrolled ribbon on its neck. To each ewer, there are losses to the tips of the chimera wings, one tip has been glued back, both female figures with losses to their hair, one vase with a loss to the beak of the bird and a break to one acanthus leaf on the foot of the ewer.
